Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your role at TGM?
Hi, I'm Ria from the Philippines, and I work with TGM Research as a Client Service Manager. My role involves overseeing the delivery of projects from start to finish, ensuring that we meet our clients’ goals and objectives. I work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate those into actionable strategies, collaborating with our internal operations team to ensure seamless execution. I’m also responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and communication, making sure everything stays on track. One of my favorite aspects of the role is the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients and help them achieve success through our research insights.
What does a typical day in your life look like?
A typical day for me involves a blend of client-facing activities, account management, and project management. I spend a significant portion of my day communicating with clients—updating them on project progress, addressing any concerns, and making sure we’re aligned with their expectations. I also collaborate with the internal teams to manage timelines, allocate resources, and solve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. No two days are the same, which keeps things exciting. Whether it’s troubleshooting a last-minute challenge or celebrating a project milestone with the client, I love the dynamic nature of my role and the variety it brings.
As a new mother, how are you managing the demands of both work and home life?
It's definitely a balancing act! I've learned the importance of prioritizing tasks and staying organized to manage both work and home life effectively. Setting clear boundaries is key—when I'm at work, I’m fully focused, and when I'm at home, I make sure to be present with my family. However, I also allow for flexibility when things don’t go as planned. My team at TGM has been incredibly supportive, offering understanding and assistance whenever needed, which makes a huge difference. It’s challenging at times, but with good planning, open communication, and a strong support system, I’ve found a rhythm that works well for both my career and my family.
