Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your role at TGM?
I'm Giorgos Chantzis from Greece and I work as a Senior Client Services Manager in TGM Research over the last 2 years. With almost 15 years of experience in the Market Research industry, my current role in TGM Research is a client-facing role for both sample only and full service Research studies. I'm highly involved in the sales/quotation and Project Management stages of each study and my main priority is to understand my clients' needs and keep them satisfied with the servces we offer them!
What does a typical day in your life look like?
A typical day in my role begins with reviewing my ongoing projects and making sure they are progressing smoothly and as per our clients' timings and expectations. The rest of the day is wisely spent between preparing quotations for new and existing clients and having client calls in which my goal is to strengthen a good relationship and trust between our clients and TGM Research. In parallel, I support the more junior members in the Client Service team by reviewing their tasks, training them and and making them feel comfortable with client communication and efficient project execution. My day ends with checking my emails and internal communication tools to ensure I have replied to everyone and offered my support and guidance internally and, most importantly, to my clients
What's the biggest challenge you face in your job, and how do you tackle it?
The biggest challenge I face in my job, considering TGM Research is a global company with employees based all around the world, is the time difference across different teams. I'm based in Europe and during my afternoon hours, most of my APAC based colleagues have switched off for the day and they are not avaialble. To overcome this challenge, I submit my requests to them in my evening hours, knowing they will be picked up on the following day in early morning hours. Once my day starts, the tasks have already been completed and I'm able to deliver them to my clients first thing in the morning, which, at the end of the day, is impressive and time efficient
