Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your role at TGM?
My name is Emma, and I’m a Software Tester at TGM Research. In my role, I focus on ensuring that our products work seamlessly and meet the highest quality standards. My work includes creating and executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers to make sure issues are resolved quickly. I also take part in test automation and continuous improvements in our QA processes, which helps us deliver reliable solutions to our clients and users.
What does a typical day in your life look like?
A typical day for me starts with reviewing test results and checking for issues. I design and run manual and automated tests for new features or changes, investigate and document problems, and work closely with developers to fix them. I also join team discussions to plan testing and suggest improvements.
What inspired you to pursue a career in software testing, especially as a woman in a male-dominated field?
I chose software testing at TGM Research because I enjoy problem-solving and ensuring products work smoothly for users. Being in a male-dominated field motivated me to prove that skills and dedication matter most. It’s rewarding to contribute to TGM’s growth and show that women can succeed in tech.
