My name is Eleonor, and I’m from the Philippines. I work as a Data Processing Manager at TGM Research. In this role, I’m responsible for overseeing the data management and processing for our various research projects. This includes cleaning and validating the data, ensuring accuracy, and transforming raw survey data into actionable insights that clients can use. I work closely with different teams to ensure that our data is of the highest quality, helping to inform strategic decisions and drive successful outcomes for our projects.
What does a typical day in your life look like?
My typical day involves reviewing incoming survey data, performing quality checks, and cleaning the data to ensure it's ready for analysis. I collaborate with project teams to discuss any specific data needs or issues, and then process the data to match the required formats. My day also includes troubleshooting any data inconsistencies and ensuring that the final datasets meet our clients' specifications. Regular meetings with the team to discuss ongoing projects and deadlines are also a key part of my routine, ensuring that we stay aligned and deliver on time.
What inspired you to pursue a career in IT, especially as a woman in a male-dominated field?
What inspired me to pursue a career in IT, especially as a woman in a male-dominated field, is my deep love for technology and the satisfaction I get from solving complex problems. It’s a field that constantly challenges me to think creatively and stay ahead of the curve. Joining the TGM family has been a pivotal moment in my career. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of a company that values and trusts me, even in a remote working environment.
