Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your role at TGM?
My name is Aljon Llaguno, I'm from the Philippines. I work as a Data Processor at TGM Research. I'm responsible for data cleaning and validating data. Manages and organizes data, ensuring its accuracy, and adherence to compliance requirements, often involving the use of databases and spreadsheets. I also generate reports, collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs and ensure data requirements are met.
What does a typical day in your life look like?
Typical day involves verifying, and validating data in databases or spreadsheets, cleaning large datasets, identifying and correcting errors, and generating reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Working with software tools to organize and process information, often collaborating with other team members to clarify data requirements and resolve issues.
What’s the most exciting project you’ve worked on in data processing, and why?
The most exciting project I've worked on was Value Retail Brand Tracker, which involves a complex tabulation format and outputs. Most of the requirements are often difficult and it challenges me to innovate and look for alternative strategies and find solutions in order to meet its requirements. It was a challening time for me and I learned a lot with the help of my colleagues. In the end, the project went smooth and we secured a couple of future waves from them.
