Glad AMC Arabia via a lot of challenges found an able online panel partner. TGM by far is the most competitive online panel company in the Middle East region. As a client I look into flexibility and expertise, which is in their DNA
We needed an online panel for a large survey study. TGM managed to reach the required sample size in the planned time frame and the project managers were communicative during the process. The pricing was also more than fair.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in TGM’s sample-only research service?
Depending on the project, we support:
- Sample feasibility assessment
- Target-audience definition
- Sample-size and quota recommendations
- Respondent sourcing
- Survey-link and redirect setup
- Soft-launch testing
- Quota and fieldwork management
- Respondent verification
- Fraud and duplicate controls
- Fieldwork progress reporting
- Completion reconciliation
- Replacement of responses that fail agreed quality criteria
The exact division of responsibilities is confirmed before fieldwork begins. TGM can also provide sampling as part of a full-service project if you need support with research design, programming, analysis, or reporting.
How does TGM assess feasibility and incidence rate?
A major part of this assessment is the expected incidence rate: the proportion of screened respondents who qualify for the survey. For example, if approximately 10% of screened respondents meet the eligibility criteria, more people must be invited and screened than for a study with a 60% incidence rate.
Feasibility is influenced by:
- Target-market coverage
- Audience profile
- Eligibility criteria
- Required sample size
- Number of quota cells
- Survey length
- Device restrictions
- Fieldwork timing
- Topic sensitivity
- Required quality checks
Incidence estimates can be based on panel profiles, previous studies, market knowledge, client information, or early soft-launch results. If the live incidence differs materially from the original estimate, TGM discusses the likely effect on timing, cost, and achievable completes before making changes.
How does TGM design sampling for niche, low-incidence, or B2B audiences?
TGM can recruit audiences based on specific behaviours, recent purchases, product usage, professional responsibilities, company characteristics, customer status, or decision-making authority.
For examples:
- Competitor customers
- Recent brand switchers
- Users of specialist products
- Business owners
- Senior decision-makers
- Procurement professionals
- IT and finance leaders
- Healthcare professionals
- People with specific recent experiences
Specialist audiences may require additional targeting and verification. Depending on the study, we may use professional-email validation, role-specific screening, employer checks, open-ended questions, or manual review.
Low-incidence audiences normally take longer and cost more to recruit because more people must be screened to find each qualified respondent. TGM assesses the audience before confirming volumes and timing and may recommend adjustments if the criteria are too restrictive.
What does "nationally representative" mean in TGM's sampling approach?
However, representative should be defined carefully. Most online panel studies use opt-in non-probability samples rather than randomly selecting every person in the population. Quotas can improve alignment with known population characteristics, but they do not remove every form of selection bias.
Depending on the study, TGM recommend quotas based on:
- Age
- Gender
- Region
- Urban or rural location
- Income
- Education
- Employment status
- Other market-relevant characteristics
The level of population coverage achievable also depends on internet access, panel availability, language, and the target audience. For category-user, customer, B2B, or low-incidence studies, a carefully targeted sample may be more appropriate than a nationally representative one.
How does TGM monitor fieldwork and sample performance?
Depending on the project and technical setup, we monitor:
- Invitations, starts, and completes
- Incidence rate
- Screen-out rate
- Completion rate
- Dropout patterns
- Quota progress
- Length of interview
- Device distribution
- Market-level progress
- Sample-source performance
- Duplicate and fraud signals
- Quality-related terminations
- Unexpected redirect or technical issues
Monitoring helps identify problems early. For example, an unusually high dropout rate may indicate a technical problem or an excessively demanding section of the questionnaire. A much lower-than-expected incidence rate may indicate that the eligibility criteria or original assumptions need to be reviewed.
TGM provides progress updates according to the agreed reporting schedule and discusses material risks before changing quotas, targeting, or sample sources.
How does TGM protect respondent and data quality?
Before respondents enter the survey, we control:
- Panel-profile validation
- Identity and account checks
- Device and location signals
- Duplicate prevention
- Proxy or suspicious-connection detection
- Study-specific eligibility screening
During participation, quality may also be assessed through:
- Completion speed
- Response consistency
- Straight-lining
- Attention checks
- Open-ended response quality
- Hidden validation variables
- Survey-side security checks
After fieldwork, respondent statuses and agreed quality flags are reviewed and reconciled.
Some response-level checks depend on TGM having access to the relevant survey data. When the survey is hosted by the client, both teams should agree before launch which checks will be implemented by TGM, which will be built into the questionnaire, and what information must be shared for post-fieldwork review.
